注意看英文释义: to move towards sb / sth that you are attracted to。
Many young people gravitate to the cities in search of work.
▪️Most readers still gravitate to books that have been professionally written, edited and reviewed.
考研英语二2014年Text 4里也考过这个词: ▪️Generally however British land artists preferred to get away from towns, gravitating towards landscapes that are traditionally considered beautiful such as the Lake District or the Wiltshire Downs.
以后我们想表达be attracted to sth,就可以用gravitate to sth 替换。
▪️An increasing number of graduates gravitate to civil-service jobs.
✏️总结:be attracted to sth, be drawn to sth gravitate to / towards sth
