从你担任上一届美国政府国务卿到现在的一系列对外公开言论来看，你不喜欢社会主义，也不希望美国人民选择社会主义。鉴于你在美国政界及西方世界有一定影响力，我就你对社会主义的一些偏见，尤其是对现在中国所采取并不断试验摸索改进完善的“中国特色社会主义制度”的偏见、误解和歪曲，谈一点个人建议，以避免你在错误的认知下不断走向深渊。
原教旨马克思主义以及德国纳粹时期的极权社会主义制度和俄国时期的列宁主义，在实践中暴露了初级社会主义制度和思想的典型缺点——即机械化理解人类社会，将所有社会关系理解为生产力决定及尖锐的阶级矛盾，从而不断进行阶级斗争，过度强调社会生产力的提高及其决定性作用，进而进行计划经济。初级社会主义制度的这个缺点，在新中国建立后的早期实践中也明显暴露出来，例如“大跃进运动”及“文化大革命”，给中国社会和人民带来了深重苦难。
但是，好在我们中国有五千年悠久的历史文化和光辉灿烂的优秀思想文化，我们在实践中发现了这一缺点（同时，初级社会主义制度的这一缺点暴露，也是由于我们当初抛弃我们的传统思想文化太多而导致的），并结合传统思想文化中的优良传统，基于我们中国的实际国情，转而探索和实践“中国特色社会主义制度”，逐步形成了现在这一“现代社会主义制度”——一个合理融合现代资本主义制度优势的现代社会主义制度，并且还在不断进步和完善中。
那么，这一起到核心作用的思想文化传统是什么呢？
简单来讲，可以理解为“儒释道”有机结合并经过两千多年实践完善的“人本思想”——儒家提倡的“仁爱”思想核心和中庸之道，可以将人们在初级社会主义实践中有可能变得极端的思想进行纠正和拉回到理性轨道上来，也找回人性深处的仁爱；道家提倡的“天人合一”思想，可以将机械化理解社会关系的初级社会主义思维进行拓展，使其全面和系统地思考社会各方面关系，乃至推进到系统地理解人和自然的关系，从而科学合理地理解社会各方面制度建立及其实践，也尊重自然法则；佛教（释家）提倡的“诸行无常、诸法无我、涅槃寂静”和“万法唯识”，可以让人们在追求经济快速发展和生活富裕的过程中适当降低对物质生活的欲望和执著，从而避免物欲横流社会弊病的大爆发。
这些优秀的传统思想文化，经过两千多年不间断的发展，已经深刻地烙印在中国人的基因和潜意识中，我们建立新中国并践行初级社会主义制度的初期，过度追求前进而抛弃或短暂地忘却这些优秀思想文化传统，导致我们整个社会和人民陷入了深重的灾难，但是后续的“改革开放”阶段，尤其是现在习近平主席领导下的新时代，我们重新找回我们中华民族的优秀传统思想文化，并使其与中国化的马克思主义和初级社会主义制度有机结合，使得我们的社会变得生机勃勃、具有人文关怀、尊重自然，同时也具有社会主义的高效率等优势。
你如果可以静下心来好好学习了解一下我们在这方面的进步，或者最起码现在看这封信的时候放下偏见回想一下是不是这样。另外，我们也可以做一个简单的展望——这样一种“儒释道”优秀思想文化和社会哲学有机结合的优势结合中国化的社会主义不断在实践中进步完善，将给我们带来如下几点：
第一，“人本思想”文化，结合现代社会主义，将给我们带来全社会各方面的人文关怀，这不是口号或者竞选承诺，而是实实在在的社会全方位实践，只需假以时日进行不断完善和细节打磨，你们会看到这些细节方面的完善所带来的社会生活的便利、舒服及令人满意的程度加上中国的经济快速发展，将会在短时间内超过你们以往几百年所积累的社会各方面细节的完善度。
第二，中庸之道结合“阴阳哲学”，将使我们的社会发展和治理，在科学系统理性的轨道上，不断在完成大的社会建设过程中兼顾社会细节完善，也会在注重集体主义的高效率同时兼顾每个个体的意愿和满意度，你要相信中国人是有这样的智慧可以很好地完成这样看似矛盾问题的处理。
第三，“天人合一”的系统哲学（可以着重参考道家核心哲学著作《易经》及老子《道德经》等），结合人工智能、物联网及智能制造方面的发展，可以让中国人在社会生活中体验到人与人、人与社会、人与大自然充分交流沟通互动的乐趣。这个层面的发展，用你们西方一贯注重的形而上学的机械科学思维是无法理解和感受到的，建议你们在这方面学习和跟随。
第四，至于“万法唯识”的佛教思想核心结合现代社会主义哲学和制度，依托人工智能及物联网、智能制造等方面所产生的社会应用和改进完善，不再给你展开叙述，以你们的机械科学思维理念和你们西方宗教文化思想对你们的长期束缚，你们暂时无法理解，如果你感兴趣，可以了解学习一下这方面基础知识，当然，前提是放下偏见和带着对东方智慧的尊重。

Judging from the series of public remarks you have made since your last tenure as Secretary of State of the United States Government, you don’t like socialism, and you don’t want the American people to choose socialism. Given that you have a certain influence in American politics and the Western world, I will discuss some of your prejudices against socialism, especially the prejudice, misunderstanding and distortion of the "socialist system with Chinese characteristics" that China is adopting and constantly experimenting and improving.And I will also give you some personal suggestions to prevent you from constantly walking into the abyss under the wrong perception.
Fundamental Marxism, totalitarian socialism during the Nazi period in Germany, and Leninism during the Russian period have exposed in practice the typical shortcomings of the primary socialist system and ideas—that is, the mechanized understanding of human society and the understanding of all social relations as productivity decisions and the sharp class contradictions have led to continuous class struggles, excessive emphasis on the increase of social productivity and its decisive role, and then implement the planned economy in all respects. This shortcoming of the primary socialist system was also clearly exposed in the early practice after the founding of New China, such as the "Great Leap Forward Movement" and the "Cultural Revolution", which brought great suffering to Chinese society and people.
However, fortunately, China has a long history and culture of five thousand years and brilliant and excellent ideological culture. We have discovered this shortcoming in practice(At the same time, this shortcoming of the primary socialist system was exposed because we abandoned too many traditional thoughts and cultures), combined with the fine traditions in traditional thoughts and cultures, based on the actual national conditions of our country, and turned to explore and practice the "socialist system with Chinese characteristics", and gradually formed the current "Modern Society Socialist system"-a modern socialist system that rationally integrates the advantages of the modern capitalist system and the socialist system , and is still in continuous progress and improvement.
So, what is this ideological and cultural tradition that plays a central role?
To put it simply, it can be understood as the "human-oriented thinking" that is organically combined with "Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism" and perfected after more than two thousand years of practice. Under the influence of the core of the Confucian thought of "benevolence" and the doctrine of the mean,the thoughts that may become extreme in practice of the primary socialist system are corrected and brought back to the track of rationality, and the benevolence in the depths of human nature is recovered.The idea of "Harmony between Man and Nature" advocated by Taoism can expand the primary socialist thinking of mechanized understanding of social relations, so that it can comprehensively and systematically think about all aspects of society, and even advance to a systematic understanding of the relationship between man and nature,scientifically and reasonably understand the establishment and practice of various aspects of society, and respect the laws of nature. Buddhism advocates the "impermanence of all actions, all dharmas without self, nirvana and silence" and "all dharmas but consciousness", which can allow people to appropriately reduce their desire and attachment to material life in the process of pursuing rapid economic development and living affluent, so as to avoid an explosion of social ills caused by material desires.
After more than two thousand years of uninterrupted development, these excellent traditional thoughts and cultures have been deeply imprinted in the genes and subconsciousness of the Chinese people. In the early days of establishing new China and practicing the primary socialist system, we excessively pursued progress and abandoned it,forgetting these excellent ideological and cultural traditions for a short time,that has caused our society and people to fall into a deep disaster. However, in the subsequent "Reform and Opening" stage, especially now in the new era under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, we have regained the excellence of our Chinese traditional ideology and culture, combined with the Chinese Marxism and primary socialist system, make our society vibrant, humanistic care, respect for nature, and at the same time have the advantages of high efficiency of socialism.
If you can calm down and learn about our progress in this area, or at least let go of your prejudice when you read this letter and think about it. In addition, we can also make a simple outlook-such a combination of the advantages of the organic combination of "Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism" excellent ideology, culture and social philosophy, combined with the continuous progress and improvement of Chinese socialism in practice, will bring us the following point:
First, the culture of "human-oriented thinking" combined with modern socialism will bring us humanistic care in all aspects of society. This is not a slogan or a campaign promise, but a real all-round social practice, which only needs to be carried out over time，constantly improving and polishing the details.And then,you will see the convenience, comfort and satisfaction of social life brought about by the improvement of these details, coupled with the rapid economic development of China.At the same time,it will surpass the completeness of the details of all aspects of society that you have accumulated over the past few hundred years in a short period of time.
Second,the Golden Mean combined with the "Yin-Yang Philosophy" will enable our social development and governance to be on the track of a scientific system and to constantly take into account the social details and perfection in the process of completing the large-scale social construction. It will also pay attention to the high efficiency of collectivism,simultaneously,take into account the wishes and satisfaction of each individual.You have to believe that the Chinese have such wisdom to handle such seemingly contradictory problems.
Third,the system philosophy of "Harmony of Man and Nature" (you can focus on the core philosophical works of Taoism "The Book of Changes" and Lao Tzu's "Tao De Jing", etc.), combined with the development of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and intelligent manufacturing, can enable Chinese people experience the fun of full communication and interaction between people, people and society, and people and nature in social life. The development of this level cannot be understood and felt with the metaphysical and mechanical scientific thinking that you have always paid attention to in the West. I suggest you learn and follow in this regard.
Fourth,as for the core of the Buddhist thought of "all laws and knowledge" combined with modern socialist philosophy and system, relying on artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, intelligent manufacturing and other aspects of social applications and improvements, I will not describe it for you. Because of your mechanical scientific thinking and the long-term constraints of your Western religious and cultural thoughts on you, you cannot understand it for the time being. If you are interested, you can learn about the basic knowledge in this area. Of course, the premise is to let go of prejudice and bring respect to the East wisdom.
